Morning Meeting
Daily Math routines: classroom jobs, schedule, days of the week, months of the year (in English and Spanish), weather, calendar, attendance (counting the number of children present in English, Spanish, French, or Chinese), number of days in school (recording and grouping by ones, tens, and hundreds), results of the daily survey.
· Breakthrough to Literacy Reading Book of the Week and participating in reading/ writing activities related to each week’s book. Children also use the BTL computer program.

· Fundations (phonics and handwriting program) · Reading Workshop

**If time allows, children will participate in Learning Centers at the end of the day.** Children select the learning center(s) in which they would like to work. They may choose from the sand table, water/sensory table, dramatic play, ABC, math, computer, science, library, writing, and block areas.
Thrilling Thursdays Each Thursday, from 1:05- 2:50, children participate in an enrichment program called, Thrilling Thursdays. In K-110 our concentration is “Amazing Arts and Crafts.” Children create various art projects in response to literature, as well as other activities related to our units of study.
